This policy explains what personal information NILA GROUPS collects through this website, why we collect it, who can see it and what choices you have. It covers Nila Services, our recruitment business, which is the part of this website where you can register.

Information we collect

When you create an account: your name, email address, mobile number, account type (job seeker or employer) and a password. We store passwords in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read them. If you forget your password, contact us and our team will set a new one for you.

When you register as a job seeker:

  • Contact details: name, mobile number, email address, current location and full address.
  • Personal details: date of birth and gender.
  • Education and work: qualification, course, college, passing year, skills, experience, languages and the type of job, location, work time and salary you are looking for.
  • Documents you upload: photo, Aadhaar card, PAN card and education certificate.
  • Other answers you give on the form, such as uniform size, your interest in our optional paid services and why you are looking for a job.

When you register as an employer: company name, contact person, mobile number, email address, company location and the details of the roles you want to fill.

When you log in: we set one cookie that keeps you logged in. It expires after 24 hours. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

While you fill in the job seeker form: your answers are saved in your browser on that device, so they are not lost if the page closes. They are not sent to us until you submit. Uploaded documents are not saved this way. The saved answers are deleted when you register, when you press "Clear saved answers", or after 7 days. Your language choice (English or Tamil) is also remembered on your device.

How we use your information

  • To create and run your account.
  • To match job seekers with employer requirements.
  • To check that the details and documents you give us are genuine.
  • To contact you about your registration, matches and services you have asked for.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who can see your information

  • Our team can see job seeker profiles, uploaded documents and employer requirements so that we can make matches.
  • Employers: when we introduce a job seeker for a role, we share the profile details the employer needs to consider them. Employers cannot browse job seeker profiles or documents on this website.
  • Job seekers: when a job seeker is matched with a role, they can see that employer's contact mobile number and email address in their dashboard.
  • Service providers: this website is hosted on Render, and our database and document storage are provided by Supabase. They store data on our behalf.
  • Authorities: we may share information when the law requires it.

How we protect your documents

Uploaded documents are kept in private storage. They are not publicly available on the internet. Only you and our team can open them, through a link that stops working after one minute.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your information unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

  • Job seekers can view and update their profile from their dashboard.
  • Employers can view and update their company details, and close the jobs they posted, from their dashboard.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account, by contacting us using the details below.

We handle your information in line with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Age

Nila Services is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
